Welcome to Gerard Spaans Sportsphotography
In 1986 I went to my first motocross Grand Prix. A lot has changed since then. The cameras and lenses that the photographer has available offer many more possibilities. On the other hand, images must be delivered to the customer much faster; the images are often uploaded before, during or immediately after the match so that they are available before the match has ended.
Internet and social media, we can no longer live without them. After a period of 15 years of mainly photographing baseball, I started focusing on sports photography in 2015.
In 2016 I started photographing commercially as a freelance sports photographer. In order to be recognized as a serious sports photographer, I became a member of the Dutch Sports Press NSP and International Sports Press Association AIPS and I offer my photos to the photo press agencies Orange Pictures and BSR Agency Nederlandse Sport Pers NSP en International Sports Press Association AIPS geworden en biedt ik mijn foto’s aan bij de fotopersbureaus Mediahuis (NHD), Orange Pictures en BSR Agency
Latest updates (full albums) are also in my portfolio. In addition, my photos can also be ordered via my website or directly from OYPO at attractive prices. In addition to printing your photos, OYPO also offers options for various wall decorations, digital downloads, clothing printing and photo gifts.
